Fogga Croft Reviews

Lovely house very well furnished and appointed. Large bedrooms with ensuites and extra bathroom for the twin room. Hot tub is a real bonus. Loads of parking. Owner very helpful seeing to any extra needs. Handy for Skipton and Settle.
Would absolutely recommend Fogga, the house is gorgeous and Caroline is a wonderful host. The house was clean, comfy beds, and they provided coffee, tea, biscuits, fresh milk and even a bottle of prosecco. Was also nice to have so many bathrooms which is usually rare! Caroline also got in touch in advance to check if we wanted the beds set up as twins or pushed together as king sizes a small gesture but much appreciated! She was also on hand via whatsapp for any queries during our stay. Would definitely recommend and would revisit for sure.
In leading up to and including during our stay we were given information about the property and events taking place during the stay at Fogga. It was most welcome and informative. The owners also supplied information and assistance to us which really was appreciated. The accommodation was first class and the facilities covered all we would require. we would thoroughly recommend this property to any who wish to visit.
We enjoyed our new year stay at Fogga Croft. The accommodation was warm and comfortable and ideally located for exploring the southern part of the Yorkshire Dales. We had a couple of very minor issues but these were promptly addressed by the owners.

Fogga Cottage is comfortable to a high end level. The linens are hotel grade & it is extremely well equipped. The owner is accessible and really helpful. We really enjoyed being there. I wouldnt book via Sykes again they made an error on my booking & as they dont want to speak to customers any more I had 3 stressful days putting it right. Ive booked several times with Sykes but never again.
Excellent communication with the owner ,minor clarifications were dealt with promptly. The accomodation is excellent for larger groups and the hot tub was a real treat at the end of the day.Particularly pleased to have a substantial welcome basket on arrival No hesitation in recommending Fogga Cottage
Gorgeous house for our family to stay in for 5 days after celebrating a wedding. An easy drive to many local walks, pubs and restaurants. The hotel tub and bbq worked a treat too.
We had a lovely week at Fogga Croft. There is a property immediately to the left which is undergoing renovation, this can be noisy at times. Close to main road, but we are used to road noise. Last photograph on the reel is actually on the grounds of the hotel across the road, sign says residents of hotel only. Can't really walk anywhere directly from the house as road busy and no footpath. Accessibility wise note there are 3 steps up into the kitchen from the living room with no grab rail, also downstairs bedrooms have a fairly big raise from floor level into shower. Kitchen is well equipped and good oven space. Induction hob which is fast, but no instructions how to use. French doors out to patio and BBQ are nice. BBQ in need of a deep clean. Dish soap, dishwasher tablets and multi surface cleaner all provided, as well as kitchen roll and bin bags. A few more tea towels would have been useful. Lovely welcome basket including gorgeous bread, milk, butter and some treats. Beds very comfortable, linen lovely and loads of towels. Shower gel, shampoo and conditioner all provided and plenty of toilet roll. Hot tub was a lovely treat and easy to follow instructions. Communication with Caroline and David was very good. A couple of problems cropped up, they responded immediately and ensured issues were sorted. Overall house is lovely and well placed to explore North Yorkshire.

Booked Fogga Croft for a family wedding at the Hotel across the road. Plenty of space for family and friends to get ready in a relaxed environment. Cottage is well equipped, very comfortable, spacious and with a great hot tub. Located in a great place with easy access to all the area has to offer.
