Bramble Bottom Reviews

Anita
The cottage was very welcoming and its proximity to shops and pub and walks excellent.
Jon
Nice property in lovely location, with nice local pub. However be aware lots of steps so may not be suitable for less mobile and only a Sunday bus service and very little taxi service so a car is essential to get anywhere.
Julie
The whole family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bramblebottom, the location is superb , both for walks and its closeness to the local friendly pub, The cottage is comfortable and very well equipped for catering for a large group and the hot water supply and showers excellent.
Richard
Great cottage - our 37th annual Boys Walking Weekend with 7 of us enjoying this fabulous Dales location. 2 of the double beds hadn't been made up as twins, as requested, but a quick phone call to Original Cottages and it was resolved.
Paul
An excellent platform for a family get-together; comfortable, convenient and Swaledale is a gorgeous location. Could not fault it.
Claire
Our whole family, young and old, loved this cottage, we had a fantastic few days here for my parents Golden Wedding Anniversary. The cottage is pristine and very well maintained. All the bedrooms are a good size with comfy beds. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need, plenty of crockery for 10, including two kettles so that you can brew up for everyone at once, a very nice touch! The living room and dining room can seat 10 at once comfortably. Muker offers beautiful views and walks, the local pub, The Farmers Arms, literally a 2 min walk from the cottage, is very welcoming and serves delicious meals. There is also a tearoom (we didnâ??t get chance to visit) and local village shop. We would love to stay again.
Gillian
A fabulous place for a family celebration, as this was our Golden Wedding Anniversary. The cottage is lovely and well equipped just like home from home we all loved it. The location was perfect and some of the locals we spoke to were really friendly. The Farmers Arms serve great food also a lovely tea room all within the village. Definitely will go back there.
Jillian
Lovely cottage and would definitely stay again. Lots of steep stairs, so not suitable for those with mobility issues. But a great space for family and friends groups, especially the open plan kitchen/dining/seating area on the second floor. Fantastic views across the valley.
Kate
A fabulous house for a group of 5 couples. We had a wonderful stay in Muker with many walks right from the doorstep. Plenty of crockery, cutlery and utensils to prepare all our meals with. Thank you for sharing your beautiful property with us.
Lucy

Many thanks for a lovely stay at Bramble Bottom! The whole family really enjoyed it in a lovely home.
