Huntingstile South Reviews

The house was lovely and had wonderful views. The kitchen was well stocked and access to local hiking trails could not have been easier. The one problem that we had was that the written directions to the house could have been much clearer if they had simply included the fact that the house was on Red Bank Rd. The word Red Bank was included in the address, but not being familiar with the format used for addresses in the UK, we did not recognise it as the street name. We arrived at night and it was misty and foggy. Our cars GPS showed Red Bank Rd, but the written directions just said turn left in front of the church. Unfortunately, you had to go around the side of the church before there was any left turn available, which added to the confusion of being in a new place in the dark and in the fog. Fortunately, after finding the house, we had no other issues and had a wonderful stay.
