Fantastic holiday in an amazing location! Hotel style bathroom and bedrooms, and lots of little extraswe loved the coffee machine, the reclining couches and plenty of seats to relax in, plus the gorgeous outdoor area that seemed to catch the sun! For owners info only although a mini vaccuum cleaner and small brush and pan is provided, it would be helpful to have had a regular size broom andvaccuum cleaner! It was quite tiresome to sweep up after meals... Overall, a great time had by all!

We booked a 4day stay at Riverside for midJune. With the Spring rain the surrounding hills & valleys were a beautiful lush green. The property is well situated in a secluded lane beside the river but just a short 15minute walk to the centre of Ambleside. The house offers plenty of privacy almost all rooms have ensuite bathrooms but also great communal space large lounge, cinema room & dining area. There is a covered outdoor area though it was a bit too rainy to benefit from this. A great visit enjoyed by all.

I was so pleased that we found Riverside and can say that the house was perfect in every way. My family and I were very happy to spend a great week there celebrating my birthday. The house was very comfortable and every detail had been considered to make our stay very special. Location was ideal. Thank you and I hope we are able visit again some time.

This property has been refurbished to a fabulous standard. The car park extension is a good upgrade considering the amount of rooms in this house. Within easy walking distance to Ambleside and Waterhead. All fixtures and fittings of a high quality.

Riverside was absolutely amazing. We loved the open kitchen and living area which was big enough for all of us to be together whilst cooking. The welcome pack was a lovely touch. All of the furnishings were first class and every room was beautifully decorated with everything we needed. The Christmas trees were a lovely touch. We will definitely be back, probably in the summer so we can make use off the pergolas which looked amazing and a great added feature.
