We had a fantastic time at this lovely house. The space was perfect for our group of 7 adults, really comfy and beautifully decorated. The garden was a real highlightand the place was spotless, especially considering dogs are allowed - you wouldn't even know they'd been! Alison was incredibly helpful and quick to reply whenever we needed anything. We loved exploring Middleham tooand definitely hope to come back soon!

We had a lovely week at this charming cottage with family to mark my dad's 60th. The place was well-equipped, beautifully furnishedand the beds were super comfy. Luckily, the weather stayed dry so we could enjoy the gorgeous garden. Definitely a place we'd return to - really enjoyed our stay!

We had a lovely time at North Gate house! The place was spotless, super comfyand had some nice touches like the welcome hamper and robes which made us feel right at home. The hot tub was perfect after a long walkand the games room kept everyone entertained. The location was great and the house manager was easy to reach, though we didn't need to. Definitely planning to come back soon!

We had a fantastic stay! The house was super comfy and had everything we needed. The outdoor space, especially the hot tub, was a real highlight-perfect for relaxing after days out. The location was lovely, with some great spots nearby, but honestly, we just wanted to chill in the house as it was so well equipped. The teens loved it too, so it was a win all round!

We had an awesome weekend at Northgate House in the Dales. The place is spot on, stocked with everything you need and some lovely extras like the hot tub and games table. Our mum was thrilled - it was her Christmas giftand she loved it! Communication from Alison was really smooth too. Definitely the best cottage we've ever stayed in!
Sophie
Honestly, this cottage was just lovely. The owners clearly put a lot of effort into making sure everything was perfect - from the cosy bedding and well-equipped kitchen to the little luxury touches. We loved relaxing in the hot tub and exploring the beautiful countryside nearby. It really felt welcoming and special, especially cosy nights by the fire. We'll definitely be coming back, it's a gem in such a great spot!
Tommy Harris
Northgate House really did feel like a cosy home away from home. The character of the place is charmingand it's perfect for a get-together with friends or family. We loved the converted garage - it's such a handy space, especially with dogs, as they can come in through the doors to be wiped and fed. The pool table that turns into an air hockey game kept the kids entertained for ages. Plus, being so close to local pubs and shops made everything super convenient. A lovely countryside escape, we'd definitely recommend it!
Jamie
We really had a lovely time here! The cottage itself was stunning, definitely one of the nicest places we've stayed. The little extras like candles, fragrant diffusersand cozy throws made it extra special. We especially enjoyed the fire, the hot tuband the games room - such a bonus! The bath in our room was absolutely fantastic. Hearing the stream at the end of the garden was so relaxingand the Bluetooth speakers in every room and by the hot tub were a nice touch. Everything we needed was there, even a wine fridge. Perfect location too!
Emma
Honestly, this was one of the nicest places we've stayed in (and we've rented quite a few). The little touches around the house really added to the comfort - made a big difference. We all felt so relaxed and used every bit of space during our week there. It's rare to find somewhere so welcoming - we really didn't want to leave, it felt like home!
