Lyndhurst Reviews

Tracey
Very cosy, well equipped cottage. The accommodation was perfect for 6 adults. Central location and parking were an advantage in Ambleside.
Louisa
Loved this property! Spacious and comfortable and very cosy for our winter break.
Steven
Good accommodation, contains everything that you would need during your stay. Ample parking for 3 cars on the driveway which is a bonus around Ambleside. We would definitely stay here again when holidaying in this area.
Lyndhurst to be fair needs some updating, both bathrooms are tired especially the downstairs one, rusty fittings, rusty radiator with broken valve and old style bathroom furniture that has seen better days, kitchen flooring has the finish coming off at joints, outside the steps leading to driveway are slippery when wet with one slab being loose and rocking when stepped on, the angle of the driveway where it meets the road is very sharp causing the front spoiler of the car to scrape on the road. ok for a 4x4 but not a normal modern car, for the reasons listed I would not return to this property.
Lovely and spacious, clean, comofortable. Just one thing, the shower panel in the upstairs bathroom was not fitted into base correctly. Otherwise everything was superb.
Darrin
We had a wonderful stay at this holiday accommodation in Ambleside. The property was exceptionally clean and comfortable, offering a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. Its location was perfect, just a short walk away from all the cafes, pubs, and restaurants in the area, making it ideal for exploring the town. The offroad parking was a huge bonus, providing peace of mind during our stay. The only downside is the steep steps leading up to the property, which might be challenging for those with mobility issues. However, overall, it was a very enjoyable experience, and I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!
Excellent well equipped property in great location
